Hotel Function Arrives on AVE Chronothermostats

In today’s hospitality market, hotel automation is no longer just a premium service, but an operational necessity to balance the guest experience with economic sustainability. AVE responds to this challenge by updating its chronothermostats with rotary knob (AVEbus and connected IoT versions), introducing specific features designed for those who manage and invest in hospitality facilities.

Thanks to the new “Humidity Control” and “Hotel Function,” these devices are transformed into active hotel management tools, capable of reducing waste without compromising comfort.

Perceived comfort in a room depends on the correct balance between temperature and humidity. For a hotel, managing the hygrometric component correctly means elevating the overall standard of the stay.

With this new update, AVE introduces humidity management for the summer season, available for both IoT models (44xCRTxxx-W) and AVEbus home automation models (44xABCRTxxx). This new implementation allows you to:

• Monitor relative humidity in the environment in real-time.
• Adjust parameters conveniently from a smartphone or tablet.
• Set three intervention thresholds for activating dehumidification systems and suspending thermal requests.

The graphic interface remains intuitive, ensuring a seamless user experience for both temperature regulation and humidity control.

Hotel Function: Maximizing Energy Savings

The heart of this update is the “Hotel Function,” a solution aimed at solving one of the historical criticalities of hotel management: the inefficient use of thermostats by guests.

This mode ensures rigorous control over consumption through:

• Setpoint Limitation: The manager can restrict guest input, allowing local temperature variations only within a narrow range (from a minimum of ±1°C to a maximum of ±5°C) relative to the ideal setpoint set by the facility.
• Visual Feedback: Both the app and the chronothermostat display graphically signal when the limitation is active.
• Management Priority: While the guest can make local adjustments, the staff always maintains total remote control over the fleet of chronothermostats, with the ability to reset or modify parameters centrally.

Scalable Solutions for Hospitality Tech

The versatility of the new AVE devices allows technology to be adapted to the size and type of the facility:

• The connected version, thanks to Wi-Fi Mesh technology, communicates directly with devices in the AVE IoT range without the need for external gateways. This is an ideal solution for smart systems that are simple to configure and manage.
• The wired version, designed for the AVEbus ecosystem, ensures advanced control, perfect for professional contexts and large-scale buildings.

Design and Aesthetic Integration

To ensure that technological innovation integrates perfectly with the facility’s interior design, both versions offer various finishes: aluminum (natural or anthracite) and technopolymer (Whitek matt white, Domus clear white, and Tekla matt gray).
