Whitek 44 wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025

Whitek 44 by AVE has been honored at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025, triumphing in the Systems, Components and Materials category. This recognition highlights the company’s ability to blend technological innovation with design excellence, two defining features of the AVE brand within the world of high-quality electrical systems.

The Archiproducts Design Awards are among the most prestigious international competitions dedicated to design. Each year, a jury composed of renowned architects, designers, journalists, and creative directors from around the world rewards projects that stand out for their originality, functionality, and aesthetic research. In the 2025 edition, Whitek 44 was recognized as a solution capable of redefining the aesthetics and technology of electrical systems, transforming them into true interior design elements.

At the heart of Whitek 44 there is an integrated wiring system distinguished by its elegant matt white finish, designed to enhance any environment. The series includes switches, sockets, controls, and connections, all developed to ensure stylistic harmony and visual coherence throughout each room. Among the most innovative features are the next-generation axial controls, where the button always returns to its original position, ensuring perfect alignment of the light point.

Completing the range are ultra-thin front plates with a minimalist design, conceived to blend seamlessly with any décor style. Among these, the Pills collection—designed by architect Simone Micheli for AVE—stands out. Made of Corian®, these front plates feature softly rounded edges and an ultra-thin 4 mm profile. The result is a line that conveys lightness and formal purity, enhancing the electrical system through touch, traditional, and hotel-specific solutions, ideal for hospitality management applications.

Beyond its design appeal, Whitek 44 is fully compatible with AVE’s smart home systems, both wired and IoT-based, offering intelligent features aimed at energy efficiency and the creation of smart, green, and sustainable environments. It represents an ideal solution for hotels, hospitality facilities, and modern homes seeking to combine comfort, efficiency, and Italian style.

With the ADA 2025 Award, AVE reaffirms its position as a leading symbol of Italian design and technological innovation. This achievement adds to the long list of honors already earned by Whitek 44, which has also received the Red Dot Award 2025 and the European Product Design Award, was a finalist at the i-NOVO Awards, and was featured—together with the Pills collection—in an exhibition at the Museo del Compasso d’Oro (ADI Design Museum).
